Isabelle Lafargue
Isabelle discovered the art of porcelain painting and immediately became enthralled. Since that first discovery, she trained in Limoges, France, as a Ceramic Designer and in 2011 was designated “Atelier d’Art de France” in Paris.
Isabelle paints each piece by hand making it a one of a kind piece of art. She works with traditional and modern techniques and each piece is kiln fired several times between 800 and 900 degrees Celsius. Isabelle’s work is fine and delicate, designed using precious metals, fine gold and platinum.
She is a professional juried member of the New Brunswick Crafts Council, the Quebec Crafts Council, and the Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council. Isabelle is also a member of the International Porcelain Artist and Teachers (IPAT) and The Porcelain Artist of Canada Association (PAC).
